Indications/Uses

Decreases viscosity & facilitates evacuation of resp mucous secretion during acute & chronic affections of resp & ENT mucosae.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Childn >5 yr 5 mL tid, 2-5 yr 5 mL once or bid.

Administration

Should be taken with food.

Contraindications

Childn <2 yr.

Special Precautions

Peptic ulcer. Fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency. Diabetes. Patients in low-Na diet. Pregnancy & lactation.

Adverse Reactions

Stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea; allergic reactions; allergic skin eruptions, anaphylactic reactions, fixed drug eruption, bullous dermatitis eg, SJS & erythema multiforme.
